Biography
I received my PhD in computational chemistry from Lakehead University in 2018. Following this I was a postdoc at Brigham Young University and the University of Ottawa. Prior to joining Laurier, I worked at a nanotechnology company in Ottawa.
My primary research interest is the computational design of earth abundant transition-metal catalysts. Specifically, I am interested in iron catalysts for cross-coupling reactions, CO2 hydrogenation, and photoredox reactions. I develop machine learning models to reveal reactivity principles and aid in the design of new catalysts.
