Biography
I am a certified music therapist (MTA) and Registered Psychotherapist (RP) with a Bachelor of Music from the University of Ottawa and Master of Music Therapy from Wilfrid Laurier University. I am a PhD candidate here at Laurier in the music therapy stream of the PhD Music program.
My clinical work as a music therapist has been primarily in private practice, originally working several years supporting children and their families with a wide variety of needs, particularly emotion regulation, attachment concerns, depression and anxiety, development of self-worth, understanding and navigating new diagnoses. More recently, I have begun to work with adults clients, combining my training in Emotionally Focused Therapy with music therapy.
