Biography
I completed my PhD at the University of Western Ontario in the summer of 2013. From September 2013 to June 2018, I conducted postdoctoral research at the ESEI Centre for Market Design at the University of Zürich in Switzerland and the AGORA Centre for Market Design at the University of New South Wales in Sydney, Australia.
My research is focused on mechanism design with an emphasis on its applications to market design. Mechanism design develops the rules or institutions needed to implement a given objective in theory. Market design uses this theory, as well as tools from operations research, computer science and economic experiments, to engineer (i.e. test and build) real-world implementations; for example, auctions to sell radio spectrum licenses to firms.
My research aims:

To improve the practical relevance of mechanism design, for example, by developing tools to deal with complex incentive compatibility constraints; and

To study specific and practical design problems.
