Biography

Marzena Cedzynski is an Assistant Professor of Marketing at Laurier. She holds three business degrees—PhD in Management, Master of Management Studies and Bachelor of Commerce (Honours)—at Carleton University. Prior to joining Laurier, she taught at the Telfer School of Management at the University of Ottawa.

Marzena has work and research experience in both the private and public sectors, working in areas of:

  • new product development
  • product attributes with a focus on product uniqueness or innovativeness
  • market segmentation
  • policy formation
  • client/consumer outreach

Her portfolio is composed of a variety of research reports tailored to specific audiences, including decision makers, stake holders, research companies and government institutions. Her research interests focus on services marketing, innovation and the effectiveness of digital communication. She also explores the appropriateness of various statistical tools in modeling marketing phenomena.

Marzena's papers have been published in Journal of Business Research, International Journal of Research in Marketing and Journal of Small Business and Entrepreneurship.
