Biography
I have over 30 years of experience in education with the Toronto District School Board. I began teaching junior kindergarten to grade six and then moved to school administration as vice-principal and then principal. I have been seconded to both to York University and Ontario Institute for Studies in Education (OISE) at the University of Toronto as a course director; both of these cohorts were focused on equity, diversity and urban education.
Most recently, I was the superintendent of schools and have recently retired. I teach on contract and also do practicum supervision for faculty of education students.
