Biography
I also work in cultural resource management (CRM) as an osteoarchaeologist, supporting excavations that include human remains from archaeological contexts.
My research aims to understand when kids became adults in the past. Exploring both the physical and social transitions, I incorporate morphological and biochemical analyses of human remains, including dietary stable isotopes and peptide analysis.
Currently, my research focuses on the Late Roman Empire in modern-day Italy and France. Upcoming research will expand into Ancient Egypt and looking at mummified remains.
