Biography
I hold a PhD in Philosophy (2011) and an MSW (2014) from Wilfrid Laurier University, and completed a postdoctoral fellowship (2016) at the Gray Centre for Leadership Ethics at Rhodes University in South Africa. Beyond academia, I have worked as a newspaper reporter and as a hospital clinical ethicist.
I have 2 main areas of research: medical ethics and the philosophy of disability. And I am currently working on a project on moral distress as a form of disability justice.
