-20th-century Latin American literature with special focus on women writers.
-Spanish and Latin American history, specifically ancient civilizations and revolutionary movements.
-Latin American and Spanish culture and civilization.
-The complexity of the Latin Americans in exile.
-Pedagogy (Scholarship of Teaching and Learning, SoTL).
