I completed an undergraduate degree at Queen’s University (2012-2016) in Health Studies & Life Sciences, course-based research opportunities and summer research programs in the Cardiovascular Stress Response Lab. After developing a passion for cardiovascular physiology research, I pursued an MSc at Queen’s in the same lab (2016-2018). Recognizing the underrepresentation of women in cardiovascular research, I pursued a PhD at McMaster University in the Vascular Dynamics Lab (2018-2023). Prior to joining Laurier in July 2025, I completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Toronto in clinical cardiovascular physiology, with a focus on cardiovascular health in women and breast cancer survivors.
