Catherine is an associate professor of organizational behavior and human resource management at the Lazaridis School of Business and Economics, Wilfrid Laurier University.

She has published articles in leading academic journals such as Academy of Management Journal, Journal of Applied Psychology, Journal of Management, Personnel Psychology, Journal of Organizational Behavior, and so on.

Catherine's research theme revolves around understanding social exchange relationships among employees and between leaders and members.
