I received my BSc degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Calgary, my MASc in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Waterloo and my PhD degree in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Western Ontario. Prior to joining Wilfrid Laurier University in 2023, I was an Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering at City University of Hong Kong (CityU). My research focuses on medical image processing, quantification, and visualization involving ultrasound and MRI with applications in cardiovascular medicine and oncology.
The overarching goal of my research program is to design, implement, validate and translate to clinical practice computational methods for medical image analysis that improve sensitive monitoring and diagnosis of diseases.
