I completed a PhD in Teacher Education at McGill University in 1999. From 1992 to 2002, I taught at both the undergraduate and graduate levels at Bishop’s University. My Master of Education, diploma in Education and Bachelor of Arts (Art History/English) were also completed at McGill. I have taught at the primary and secondary levels in Canada and Switzerland.
I was a deputy program manager of an international project to build in Bhutan the first Gross National Happiness (GNH), focused teacher education institution, where I designed curriculum for both the undergraduate and graduate levels. Currently I design and teach memoir based writing courses at Carleton University.
The main focus of my research is how narrative inquiry supports the ageing process.
