Bio/Research

I am a Pushcart-nominated writer, playwright, performer, and community organizer. I have an art degree from City University of New York's Brooklyn College and earned my MFA in creative nonfiction from the University of King’s College at Dalhousie University in 2020.

My writing has been published by Longreads, The Outline, and SAND Journal. I have written plays since 2009, with my full-length plays produced in New York City, Brooklyn, and Hamilton, Ontario. My latest play, Church Boyfriends & Other Impure Thoughts, debuted during the 2023 Hamilton Fringe Festival where it was awarded Best In Venue at Theatre Aquarius.

In 2022, I launched the Riverside Reading Series in Paris, ON to support writers of all ages and all professional levels.
